Transvaginal Ultrasound

For more detailed imaging, the sonographer might advise a transvaginal ultrasound scan.
This will involve inserting a small ultrasound probe gently to the vagina to obtain clearer photographs of your uterus and ovaries.
A transvaginal scan could be especially practical when investigating:
PCOS
Ovarian cysts
Fibroids
Endometrial abnormalities
Your consent will almost always be asked for in advance of Pelvic Scan Stoke-On-Trent this scan is executed.
